Mid Month Goals

I find having monthly goals a great way to stay motivated and organised. However having an active toddler on my hands, has meant this post has been in drafts for almost 15 days..ekk bad blogger! Plus I have so many projects and organisations I’m attached too, I found I needed to break them down in to more manageable and achievable goals, as I wasn’t completing them and found it hard to stay on track.

Little climber
I own hundreds of half filled notepads (love paper & pen) scattered around the house it’s hard to remember which one to use. I decided it was time for the classic saying “out with the old in with the new” which means I have slowly been replacing them all with shiny new ones. A book for each area. Sounds geeky but I know what I’m like!

New notepads!
With a kick up the backside and some new stationary, I’ve finally finished this post so here are my March-April Goals.

  1. I love a list! I am forever writing them and have loads of notepads around the house. I like the idea of shiny new ones though, maybe that’s what I need to get focused! X via #KCACOLS

  2. thank you for inspiring post – I’ve got so many goals in my head but just need to get them in to a clearer format so that I can make more progress! I saw a gorgeous blogging planner on line recently but can’t remember where – am off for a hunt #bigpinklink

  3. I love a to-do list! Some good advice given to me: don’t cross out what you have gotten done, use a highlighter on it instead. Looks nicer and somehow adds to your sense of accomplishment! Re growing your twitter followers, find an account you really like, and follow lots of the people who follow it, because they are likely to be like minded to you and to follow you back, then you’ll have a stable of followers who like what you like and you’ll create a nice community for yourself 🙂 #kcacols

    1. Oh I love that idea, I often create a tick box, as I feel more reward that crossing it out! But I love highlighters so I might try that too. Thanks for the sound twitter advise, I’ll be looking later. Thanks for commenting X

  4. Oooooh, lush new notepads. I am a stationary junkie too. My daughter has inherited my love and is never without a notebook and pen. You sound unbelievably busy, I’m scared to write it all down as my to do list would look similar and be too scary. I do need to though!! Thanks for linking up, and good luck ticking off! #bigpinklink

    1. Stationary junkie, I like that title, guilty of course. I think I also inherited this lovefrom my mum, who has some beautiful notepads and pens! It was quite scary getting it all down, but I feel they are achievable goals so I can do it or at least try! See you next week when I’ll have an update. X

  5. Thank God I’ve found someone else who has a load of half completed note books. I have a drawer dedicated purely to the most beautiful looking notebooks with one or 2 pages completed. I have a problem. #thelist

    1. That’s it, too much choice and they are everywhere, I blame the notepad marketing people! Thanks for the luck, I’ve done a few some far and I’m 30 away from 600 followers on Twitter so that’s a start. Progress next week

    1. Thanks Becky, I’m quite pleased with my Twitter activity and now moving onto Instagram. I’m so pleased to hear that I’m not alone in the notebooks and post it notes 🙂 I do feel slightly more organised with my blog but haven’t managed all my personal goals, but I still have another week! Thanks for the great link X

  9. It is really useful to make lists for everything you need to remember. I use my notepad from my iphone and I write everything there. It is the easiest way for me. Although I still find it very difficult to manage my time. Life is not easy when you have kids! Good luck with the birthday party. My daughters love Peppa Pig, especially my little one. She is obsessed with her. She demands to watch it all the time, lol. Thanks so much for sharing this at #KCACOLS. It is great having you for the first time. I hope that you like it. I always remind people that joins us for the first time to check the rules as it makes easier to understand the linky. It would be lovely if you could join us again this Sat 2nd April that the linky is back after a week off, 🙂 xx
